“The Best Things to Do When You Visit NYC!”
--
I have been such a wanderluster this year!
Over the winter, I flew to Seattle to see all the cool stuff they have.
Then in the spring, I went to Los Angeles to get my beach girl vibes on!
And just last week, I went to New York City to visit my friend Brittany for her birthday and see all the cool stuff the “Big Apple” has to offer!
In a city with SO much going on, I am really grateful I had the guidance of the internet to help me figure out what to do while I was there. I got a lot of good advice from travel bloggers on things like the “NYC Bucket List for Tourists!” and “The Best Secret Tips From a Local!” and “50 Epic New York Must-Sees!”
These travel blogger tips made my trip so much more worthwhile!
“See some of the best live music in the country at Radio City Music Hall!”
We went to an 80s & 90s dance party with a band that seemed to specialize in weddings and also seemed to think the only song from the 90s was “Toxic” by Britney Spears.
“A must-eat: indulge in one of NYC’s legendary bagels!”
I got a plain bagel from the airport Dunkin before my flight home.
“Admire the spectacular view of Manhattan over the Hudson!”
On Saturday afternoon, we went to Greenpoint Public Park which certainly had a nice view of the city but mostly we were trying to not throw up the potato-meat-bread-cheese lump from our Polish restaurant lunch.
“Visit famous movie and TV filming locations across the city!”
Someone who came to Brittany’s birthday party lives in the Ghostbusters building.
“Sip on a tasty spirit at one of New York’s swanky cocktail bars!”
We bought canned mixed drinks from a liquor store on our way to a butterfly taxidermy…
